To My Favorites Littles...

Wow.
I can't even put into words the love I have for these 3 sweet kids. After becoming an aunt to them, and learning about them their crazy personalities, it makes me so eager & excited to have children of my own someday. I am so blessed to know, and be related, to these crazy monkeys.

(Yes, this is another random gratitude post.)

{The memories I have with these kids are unforgettable and always kept in my heart. I LOVE THEM. Can't wait for more memories to come.}

Choose Happy!

This picture perfectly demonstrates how I feel today.

Today is a good day. Every day is a good day!
I'm so grateful for my life and all I have. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

What makes you happy?

To New Things!

With college starting up, and me being a first year freshmen, of course lots of stress and anxiety is involved.
School is so important to me. So as this new school year rolls around and as I change from high school to college, there's A LOT to be nervous/scared about.

Sometimes I forget to just think about life as a continual big picture, rather than just right now. For example, school is going to happen, no matter what, so why not try to be excited and ready for it, rather than all panicky(like I have been for the past 2 months)...? Easier said than done... Ha!

I know it's easier said than done, but I know that eventually (probably when I'm 100 years old thinking back on it..) I'll laugh at the stress and tears I've gone through.
A quote that my mom and I use a lot is
"I can do hard things."
It's amazing the strength those words can give you when you're in the middle of something unbearably hard. Give it a try!

Good luck to you all who are beginning to embark on a big journey.
It may be hard, but I know it'll be worth it.

An Ice Cream Date

{This boy has my heart.}

I remember when he was first born... I was nervous, because I already had my first niece (his older sister) before him, and I felt like no other child could ever come close enough to the love I had for my niece (Ellie). But the moment I held him in the hospital, and saw his sweet little soul in that perfect little body, I knew he would be very special to me too.
This little guy says the craziest things and is the clumsiest boy I have ever met, but I love him more than anything. He has such a kind heart and always loves to surprise people with little acts of service. Our little spontaneous dates to the nearby ice cream shop are memories that I cherish, and I hope for him to look back and cherish them later, also. I love being his buddy.

So grateful for my family and the chance I have to be an aunt.

Gratitude & Love

When I look at this picture, the first words that come into my mind are "gratitude" & "love".

The love that our savior, Jesus Christ, has for us is indescribable and immeasurable. I am so grateful for the knowledge of that love he has for each and every one of us.

I have made so many mistakes in my life that sometimes make me feel unworthy to receive that infinite love from him, but through constant prayer, scripture study and trying to do my best, I KNOW that he loves me and each and every person on this earth no matter what; And what he did in the garden of Gethsemane, as he wept and suffered, it was for all of us. What an incredible example of love!

I hope that when I see Christ again someday, I will be able to wrap my arms around him and try to show the amount of love and gratitude I have for him and the compassion and forgiveness he shows me every day.

I'm not perfect, but i'm trying, and I know that through him, I can be perfect someday.

I hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday!

What are you most grateful for?

It's her birthday!

Today is my best friend's birthday.
The big 1-8. Yep, that's right! She's 18!

So, we went paddle boarding.
  SO MUCH FUN!

Here's some pics.

(A little blurry, but so much fun!)

C A L I F O R N I A

As a last "hoorah!" to summer, (and before college starts), my best friend & I decided to take a little trip to the good ol' "golden state".

CALIFORNIA
(A few re-caps)

Strolling around Santa Monica Pier

The view from the Ferris Wheel. This world is pretty!

Pacific Park was a must.
BFF shot.

Of course a visit to Justin Timberlake's "humble" abode. (Hollywood Hills)

A trip to "Juicers Smoothies" in Solana Beach.

All in all, it was a great way to send off the summer.
How was your summer?

WELCOME!

So, this may or may not be the 3rd blog I have created...
But here's to another hopeful commitment of keeping up with it...

A little bit about myself:
My name is Raychelle (pronounced Rachel, but spelled a little different, obviously).
At the moment, I am a freshman in college going toward a career in dental hygiene.
I am a Mormon, I love to bake, cook, and try out new recipes from Pinterest.

I live in a family of all girls (3 of them to be exact) and a lot of pets. (1 dog, 1 cat, 2 tortoises, and 5 turtles.)
My mom is a registered nurse.
My dad, a great landscaper.(I have the number if you need it... Heehee!)
My 2 sisters are mamas themselves, and do an amazing job at it.
Being an aunt to my nieces and nephews is the funnest and craziest thing in the world,
but I love it!

I am so grateful for my family & the blessing they are to me.

(This pic was back in early 2013... But it'll do the trick until the next family picture moment.)

I hope for you all to get to know me, and that I get to know as I create this blog.

Let the fun begin.
